Speechify text to speech has a normal and pro plan. It offers a 3-day free trial allowing you to test run the software before committing to any purchase.

Pros
It’s easy to use: Speechify’s interactive reading interface is very easy to use and navigate, even for children.
It can fit in all kinds of work: From students and casual readers to any kind of profession.
For example reporters, teachers, or salespeople with reading material.
The pro version has unlimited features like speed control and HD voice options that you won’t find with other apps.
Time saver: This is a fantastic tool for reading quickly. It’s useful, especially when I have to go through a document fast and don’t want to read it all.
It’s convenient. The concept is brilliant.
Great customer service: Speechify has great customer service, in my experience. They usually get back to you pretty quickly with helpful information.
Sync across all your devices: Speechify text-to-speech can sync across all your devices. You don’t have to pay extra for it.
Speechify is also available as a Chrome extension. You can also transfer docs from Google Drive or Dropbox easily.
Language options: Speechify offers multiple languages. Such as American English, and British English, but also French, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, etc.
Speechify also has a feature that allows you to change the types of voices.
If you prefer deep male/ female voices you can.
This is great for people who have trouble understanding high-pitched computerized voice
Clear natural voice readers: Speechify’s HD voices are clear, natural-sounding.
Speechify can change the level of reading to suit your needs. You can do this by changing the speech rate (words per minute).
It is like your very own personal reading assistant. If you suffer from dyslexia or reading disabilities, this will greatly benefit you.
Cons
Poor pricing model. Speechify allows you to have a 3-day free trial, then charges you a $139 annual fee which is $11.58 monthly.
Most people get surprised when they get charged because they do not read the small print underneath. The app costs $139.
In fact, you might assume that the product is free if you sign up through their website.
Short Trial Time. Because of the $139 price point, a 3-day free trial doesn’t seem enough to make the choice to buy.
Only 150k Premium Hd Words Per Month. Users on the free version have only 1500 premium voices a month. Premium users have 150,000 high-definition readings.
Premium users who go over the 150,000-word threshold can purchase up to one million additional words for an additional fee.
The only difference between a free account and a premium account is the amount of HD Natural voices.
The listen faster mode, in my opinion, makes the price of Speechify premium justifiable.
Some Technical issues. The phone app might sometimes have some technical issues.
Although, Speechify has a great customer support team that will help you fix any problems.
Cannot read books directly from Google Drive or Dropbox.
Speechify cannot be used to read eBooks off of google drive or dropbox.
This is what I was most looking forward to when I found out about Speechify.
It would have saved me a lot of time and money.
On some rare occasions, the Speechifys software may skip large portions of text. It’s quite inconvenient.
Is Speechify The Right Text To Speech App For You?
Recommended if:
You want to save time. Speechify text to speech is a good choice if you are always on the move and need to save time.
You do this because of its faster listening experience.
Speechify users can breeze through content at 2-3x reading speed while they stay focused cutting hours studying.
Multitasking: You can read a book while doing other chores or activities. You can take your reading wherever you go. You can read at the gym, in a park, or on a couch.
A different way of reading: If you want to improve your comprehension and attention.
It’s a user-friendly tool, especially for those with reading disabilities like dyslexia.
Not recommended if:
Tight on money. If you are not aware that you will be charged a $139 yearly subscription after a 3-day free trial.
The speech software may irritate you. Speechify text to speech app might not be a good choice for those on a budget.
Does not work with Perlego e-reader documents.
Speechify premium does not work with Perlego documents. These are PDF files you can buy for a subscription.

The Google Chrome extension is really easy to use and the customer service is great.
I have not had any errors or complaints with Speechify. However, if you do the customer service team will be more than happy to help you out.
